Welcome to the Work Time Helper 🎯
This tool is designed to make your day easier by calculating how much you’ve already worked, how much is left to reach 8 hours, and when you should clock out.


✨ What it does

  • Tracks your start of the day and end of the day
  • Enforces a mandatory 30-minute lunch break
  • Lets you add as many breaks as you need (in pairs: start + end)
  • Shows:
  • Worked time (already done)
  • Remaining time (to reach 8h)
  • Target clock-out time (based on what you’ve entered)

🕹️ How to use

  1. Clock-in → set the time you started your day.
  2. Lunch break → add start and end of your lunch.

    If it’s less than 30 minutes, the tool still deducts 30 minutes automatically.

  3. Breaks → click “+ Add break pair” if you had an afternoon break.
  4. Enter both start and end times.
  5. You can add multiple breaks, or remove them if not needed.
  6. Clock-out → leave it empty while you’re still working.
  7. The tool will suggest at what time you should leave.
  8. When you actually finish, enter your real clock-out time.

📊 Reading the results

On the right, you’ll always see: - Worked: how many hours you’ve already done
- Remaining: how much is left to reach 08:00:00
- Target clock-out: the suggested time to leave


✅ Example

  • Clock-in → 07:15
  • Lunch → 11:45 → 12:20
  • Break → 15:00 → 15:10
  • Clock-out → leave empty for now

👉 The app will tell you:
- Worked so far
- Remaining to 8h
- Suggested clock-out (including 30-minute lunch + your 10-minute break)
